MAKING A PURCHASE
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through our web store, click on any items that you wish to purchase and add them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy your order.
The BIM Store processes payments secured by Sage Pay (Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard)
While we prefer your order is placed and paid for on the store website, we can accept orders by email to firstname.lastname@example.org where payment can also be made by credit and/or debit cards. Payment will be debited from your account before the dispatch of your goods or provision of the service to you. If payment is to be made via a credit card a 2% transaction charge will apply. Card details can be given over the phone by telephoning us directly on +44 (0)121 447 7788.
We also accept payments via Bank Transfers, this can be done with ease for those of you who have Internet banking. Our bank details are available on request.
All sales to UK (except Channel Islands) and European Community (EC) clients are subject to VAT at the current rate, which is excluded in the prices shown in the online catalogue. Non EC clients are exempt from VAT. EC business clients are exempt from VAT, but a valid EC VAT number must be provided.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Goods will only be despatched once full payment has been received. We will normally despatch your order within 1 to 5 business days, depending on the nature of the item ordered. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. In some circumstances (such as machinery failure, power cuts etc.) the turnaround times may be delayed. Goods that can be sent electronically are shipped for free. No order quantities will be split unless previously agreed in writing, or otherwise stated on the website. Shipping costs will vary based on the items purchased, weight and delivery address. Where postage is included within the price of a product, this covers only postage within the UK.
If your goods are not in stock, we will order them directly from the manufacturer which can take upwards of 5 working days. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. You will not be able to cancel your order once we have ordered your goods from the manufacturer which is usually 24 hours from time of order.
Please note, we will not accept returns and/or issue refunds on digital items (ie. Software, GDL objects etc). We will, however, accept returns for defective and/or damaged tangible goods.
Under the EC Distance Selling Directive, you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 working days of delivery. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract, nor will you have to pay any penalty. You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are audio/video recording or software, or you have taken these items out of the sealed packages in which they were delivered to you. Once the seal is broken you are bound by the manufacturer’s terms and conditions of sale.
TRAINING COURSE BOOKINGS
Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation then the following charges will apply:
1 – 10 working days before a course – 100% of the course fee
11 - 15 working days before a course – 50% of the course fee
16+ working days before a course – 25% of the course fee.
Cancellations can be made by telephoning us on 0121 447 7788. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing by post or via email to email@example.com and must contain the full booking details. Your cancellation will be confirmed in writing along with an invoice or if an invoice has been issued, the appropriate credit note.
If you do not attend a course, and have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.
Should circumstances mean that you need to transfer to another course then the following charges will apply dependent on notice given:
1 – 10 working days before a course – 50% of the course fee
11 - 15 working days before a course – 25% of the course fee
16+ working days before a course – 0% of the course fee.
The option to transfer delegates can only be used once, after which any movement will be considered a cancellation. All outstanding invoices will remain due, irrespective of the number of working days notice given for the cancellation.
To transfer a delegate please telephone us on 0121 447 7788. Transfers must be confirmed in writing by post or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and must contain the full booking details.
You can transfer a place on a course to a substitute delegate free of charge.
Late arrivals/missed sessions
If you arrive late for a course or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.
On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a course. In such circumstances you will be given as much notice as possible and either a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.
Applecore Designs Limited will not reimburse travel or accommodation expenses. Applecore Designs Limited are not able to offer refunds for cancellations outside our control, including adverse weather conditions, flooding or industrial action.
Course notes and training
Applecore Designs Limited course notes and training cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation. Neither Applecore Designs Limited nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for the actions of delegates, or those of other people reading the course notes, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the course content or the course notes. Electronic or hard copy versions of the materials should not be distributed in any form. In addition the courseware must not be resold, lent, rented, assigned or transferred to any third party.
We guarantee your satisfaction. In the rare eventuality of a complaint, we will deal with it promptly.
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Any contract between us, whether for use of the site or in relation to the purchase of products or services through the site will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and all parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of store.applecoredownloads.com, however we cannot guarantee uninterrupted and totally reliable access, and so therefore cannot guarantee that the information will always be completely up to date and free of mistakes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Applecore Designs Limited and Graphisoft Connect disclaim all warranties; expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on store.applecoredownloads.com and will accept no liability for any loss or damage arising as a result of problems with access.
Applecore Designs Limited and Graphisoft Connect shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.
Applecore Designs Limited and Graphisoft Connect reserve the right to revise, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions, and any of our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner.
